It was a smart choice for a couple of nights in Ann Arbor with good value for cost. The bar area had decent drinks and a nice vibe. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper—all the noise from the atrium travels.

The pool was a hit with the kids, especially the warm water! The breakfast spread was impressive and had plenty of options. The front desk staff was helpful, and I particularly appreciated a kind employee who used her phone to help me translate when I had questions.
In my wife’s opinion, the lack of a secure locking system for outside doors was concerning, especially with small kids around.

We had a fantastic stay, especially since the hotel is close to the University of Michigan, making it perfect for graduation events. The staff was very accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed during our time. The room was spacious and comfortable for my large family.
My kids wished there were more variety at breakfast. It would be great to see more options for families during mealtime.

I had a positive experience at Wyndham Garden. The staff were always friendly and attentive, and the business center was well-equipped, which made completing my work tasks much easier. missingWrote a review on Oct 09nostalgic vibecomfortable sleepvariety optionsmaintenance issues
The pool area offers a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of 70s and 80s hotel design, adding character to the place. The beds provide a comfortable sleep experience, while the complimentary breakfast features a variety of options, including a DIY waffle maker.
The hotel clearly needs an update to its facilities, as much of the interior feels dated, with cleaning and maintenance issues observed in the rooms. The hot tub is out of service, creating a letdown for anyone seeking relaxation. Some of the common areas, such as the elevators, feel old and a bit sluggish, which can be inconvenient during peak times. Additionally, parking can be a bit tricky due to the hotel's layout, making it less than ideal for easy access to your vehicle.

I spent a couple of nights in a Standard King Room at Wyndham Garden. The room felt clean and the bed was comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The staff greeted me with warm smiles. They were attentive and helpful, really enhancing my stay. The location worked well for my needs, close to local attractions. Breakfast was decent but had limited choices. I'd prefer more variety. On the downside, the elevator was a bit of a trek from my room, which was inconvenient. The hallways appeared worn and needed some maintenance. I noticed the rooms lacked certain amenities and furnishings that could enhance comfort. Overall, a solid stay, but some improvements could make it even better.
