It was a smart choice for a couple of nights in Ann Arbor with good value for cost. The bar area had decent drinks and a nice vibe. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper—all the noise from the atrium travels.

We had a fantastic stay, especially since the hotel is close to the University of Michigan, making it perfect for graduation events. The staff was very accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed during our time. The room was spacious and comfortable for my large family.
My kids wished there were more variety at breakfast. It would be great to see more options for families during mealtime.

the air conditioning was underwhelming.

missingWrote a review on May 13nostalgic vibecomfortable sleepvariety optionsmaintenance issues
The pool area offers a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of 70s and 80s hotel design, adding character to the place. The beds provide a comfortable sleep experience, while the complimentary breakfast features a variety of options, including a DIY waffle maker.
The hotel clearly needs an update to its facilities, as much of the interior feels dated, with cleaning and maintenance issues observed in the rooms. The hot tub is out of service, creating a letdown for anyone seeking relaxation. Some of the common areas, such as the elevators, feel old and a bit sluggish, which can be inconvenient during peak times. Additionally, parking can be a bit tricky due to the hotel's layout, making it less than ideal for easy access to your vehicle.

The bed was super comfy, and the room had cool stuff like a kitchenette, flat-screen TV, and nice towels. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold items, especially the waffle maker. The pool area felt cozy, but be ready for the strong chlorine smell from the open layout. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

missingWrote a review on Apr 07clean roomattentive staffcomfortable bedworn hallwayslimited breakfast
I spent a couple of nights in a Standard King Room at Wyndham Garden. The room felt clean and the bed was comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The staff greeted me with warm smiles. They were attentive and helpful, really enhancing my stay. The location worked well for my needs, close to local attractions. Breakfast was decent but had limited choices. I'd prefer more variety. On the downside, the elevator was a bit of a trek from my room, which was inconvenient. The hallways appeared worn and needed some maintenance. I noticed the rooms lacked certain amenities and furnishings that could enhance comfort. Overall, a solid stay, but some improvements could make it even better.
